Terms & Conditions
By booking a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings & Payment
All appointments are subject to availability. A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment and will be deducted from the final balance. Bookings are not confirmed until the booking fee has been received. The remaining balance is due on or before the date of the appointment.
2. Cancellations & Amendments
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or amendments made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in forfeiture of the booking fee.
As appointments require preparation and travel, same-day cancellations or failure to attend the scheduled appointment will result in the full service cost remaining payable. Booking fees are non-transferable.
3. Late Arrivals
Clients are expected to be ready at the scheduled appointment time. Delays caused by the client may result in reduced service time to avoid disruption to subsequent bookings. Appointments delayed by more than 15 minutes may be cancelled, with the full service cost remaining payable.
4. Makeup Lessons
Makeup lessons are non-refundable once booked. Lessons are bespoke and tailored to the individual client’s skill level and preferences. Results may vary depending on skin type, product compatibility, and technique. Lesson duration cannot be extended due to late arrival or delays caused by the client.
5. Hygiene, Safety & Client Responsibility
All brushes, tools, and products are sanitised between clients in accordance with professional hygiene standards. Clients must disclose any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or skin concerns prior to the appointment. Failure to disclose relevant information releases the artist from liability for any resulting reaction.
The artist reserves the right to refuse service if a condition poses a risk to client or practitioner health.
6. Bridal & Event Services
Bridal bookings may require a consultation and/or trial appointment. Final numbers, timings, and locations must be confirmed in advance, including any changes, which must be provided in writing.
Additional fees may apply for early start times, extended services, additional clients, or location changes. In the event of cancellation within 30 days of the wedding date, 100% of the total balance remains payable. The artist is not responsible for delays caused by the client, bridal party, venue, or third parties.
7. Mobile Appointments
Travel fees may apply depending on location. Clients are responsible for providing a suitable workspace with adequate lighting, seating, and access to power where required. Any parking, tolls, or congestion charges incurred must be covered by the client.
8. Photography & Portfolio Use
With the client’s consent, photographs or video content may be captured during or after the appointment for portfolio, website, or social media purposes. Please advise in writing prior to the appointment if you do not wish to be photographed.
9. Results & Refund Policy
Makeup results may vary depending on individual skin type, condition, lighting, and environmental factors. While professional products and techniques are used, specific outcomes or wear time cannot be guaranteed.
No refunds are provided for completed services. Booking fees are strictly non-refundable. Any concerns must be raised during the appointment or within 24 hours in writing, allowing the opportunity for review.
10. Data Protection & Privacy (UK GDPR)
Personal information provided during the booking process is used solely for appointment management, communication, and service delivery. Data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where legally required.
Clients have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.
Right to Refuse Service
11. The artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service in the event of inappropriate behaviour, unsafe conditions, significant lateness, or failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Agreement
By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.
